With a thriving career in hospitality and education, Karima Lanfranco founded The KLCC Group to leverage her background and expertise into today's business landscape.

Karima is a professor and the program coordinator for Hospitality Management at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. She is also the Director of Mentorship as part of the Executive Board for HSMAI (Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International) South Florida Chapter. 

Prior to her career in academia, she spent almost fifteen years in the hospitality industry, specializing in luxury and upscale, full-service hotels and resorts throughout the United States, with companies that include Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels, Hilton Worldwide, Marriott International, and Kessler Collection.  

She earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida (2021). Her research concentration is on lodging operations, and service failures and recovery in hotels. 


She is originally from Miami and earned a Bachelor in Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Miami (2008). She continued to pursue her academic career and moved to Nevada for graduate school, earning a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas (2010).

She has a passion for the art of service and for spreading the love of hospitality wherever she goes.
